Dr Zara Nanu, CEO of Gapsquare discusses the potential for technology disrupting the Gender Pay Gap in a presentation on Collecting and Verifying the Data and Metrics at the Gender Pay Gap: Managing the Regulations Training Seminar.
One of the trickiest topics for the corporate sector has been gender pay reporting. Forced to publish the stats by government many companies had read faces in 2018. 2019 has not progressed as expected, instead of steady improvement, many companies have gone backwards. Confounded companies and organisations are now trawling data to see if they can figure out what is happening. One organisation anticipated this, Gapsquare has worked with 70 firms with over 250 employees (many early adopters before the legal requirement) and capturing many of other levels including location, existing pay grading, race or just dispersed data including tackling companies involved in mergers. Revealing trends that will be useful across the 9000 companies.
Gapsquare used a recorded session at a Narrowcast Media Group to introduce their work and introduce their credentials to the full audience reaching new clients with a substantial introductory demonstration of their competence in the area. As a showcase for thought leadership video is now second to one.
